Hi. I have a 2011 slt with basic radio no unconnect or back up cam. I would like to know what the possibility is to upgrade it to the my gig if I can what type of bus speed do I need. And if I plug and play one. Will everything work. I would really appreciate the help thanks. I'm looking at a my gig 430 rite now. But unsure if it will work

You need a 430 with high-speed bus. 430N if you want Nav. You will also need a separate Uconnect module and for backup cam you need the cam kit and to have the dealer program it. This will be a very expensive mod and you might be better off going aftermarket.

Correct, only need to take it to the dealer to get flashed if you are installing backup cam or uconnect module.

Correct. Have you priced a 430N yet? Still think you're better off with aftermarket, especially if you don't plan on not getting the Uconnect. The OEM radio is fine with all the bells and whistles working, but if you cripple it by not adding Uconnect and backup cam then it is an overly expensive piece of kit.

I agree, at what it could possibly cost to get the things you want "oem" you could go aftermarket for cheaper and have better product overall
