So my stock CD player has been like this for a while now, years in fact, when you got to adjust the volume, you can spin the knob all day long and it will either not do anything, do the oposite of that you are wanting it to do or go to the extremes on what you want it to do. For example I want to turn it up, spin the knob and it jumps from lvl 5 to lvl 25, then I go to turn it down and it jumps to lvl 30, get it back down to say lvl 15 and go to turn it up and it drops down to lvl 0. Other than getting a new system in there, is there a fix?

I don't think there is a fix, I believe the knob is stripped out on the inside..... Only way to fix is to replace.

It aint easy.... bein' Easy ;)

I agree. Sounds like the bushes on the volume control are gone. There is no fix. Replace is the only solution. Some was looking for a stock radio on one of the threads, someone replied and said they had two. Find that thread and see if he still has one. Good Luck!!

well if it is broken and you plan on getting a new one. might as well take it apart and try and fix it before you buy a new one. if its broken, whats the worse you can do, break it more.
