Hello i’m looking for some help or advice. I guess a few months ago somebody stole my ram 2500 out of the parking lot. The person that was with me left the keys in it so they made it easy. The cops didn’t wanna really do much to help and they didn’t have the I didn’t pay the bill so they turned off the Jack course and they said it would take like 12 hours to turn back on to my I end up being able to track the truck with my AirPods and got the police out there to recover the truck. I was lucky because it turns out that I had liability after going through a few things in life. It’s just that’s how it turned out. i’m not at a complete loss thankfully, but I forget it towed to a supposed if you know, friend friend the family type mechanic. I paid them 1650 for a new key fob to tell me that I need a new radio and screen total billing of around 7000 out-of-pocket, I could’ve got the key myself you know, but it is what it is. I found a radio from LKQ since they don’t make my radio anymore no longer manufactured discontinued. The one I found is I believe to be a fourth gen and I am in fifth ram when the people stole it. I guess they ripped my radio out and destroyed the connections. I was thinking they could be soldered or fix somehow but no so this is where I’m at. I’m not sure if this radio connection that I have or even to get a harness from if it turns out, I do need a harness also. I’m not bad when it comes to figuring things out. I’m pretty good with electronics, but I’m in the dark here. I’m limited amount of money. I can spend just like the limited I’m driving.

5th Gen radios are still available. The part number you have may be superseded. Hit up Benny at @AllMoparParts.com with your VIN.

Metra makes factory radio wiring harnesses for some 2013 and up Chrysler and Dodge vehicles. Check with the bone yards around you. Once they have parted our the hood stuff they may let you cut off the radio harness from one of their vehicles.

Might want to try proof reading your posts for clarity so folks can help you without having to decipher your post first.

Yep. Kind of a bummer the radio for a truck that hasn’t been built yet is discontinued.
