Stuck in Limp mode - HELP!

Had a needed regeneration warning that it was 90% full.. went to car wash first and was heading to highway...

Got the second warning light ETC light -Electronic Throttle Control.. truck will only move in first gear and goes about 40 MPH. Less than 10K on the truck with Eco Diesel. Have never had any other problems....

Stopped at dealer, it was noon on Saturday (today) and they had no mechanics... was going to go fishing on Tuesday 1000 miles away!

Can I drive it on the highway and make the Regeneration process start when it is at 100% FULL... or do I have to miss my trip and take it to a dealer on Tuesday for them to reset with their "WiTech tool".

Anyway to reset this code (or both)? Can I disconnect the battery to clear the PCM codes?

I cannot imagine I am the first to have this problem??

Try the PCM reset by pulling the negative battery cable for 20 - 30 minutes.

Do this close to the freeway or the area you are going to do the high speed blow it out run. That way you can get in, got on it and not have it come back before you get to a place you can open it up.

^ what he said .. It tells you it needs to regen??? I thought it was automatic? Make sure u are full up on D.E.F-
