21 Warlock no throttle

Brother had this happen to him Friday. Got a warning light about throttle sensor, then no throttle. Was driving down the highway when this happened. Told him to pull over and restart. Did it again about 20 miles down the road, but another warning about brakes besides the throttle. Has around 60,000 on it. My 21 3500 has never done this with 51000 on it. He is waiting on a call back from the dealer. Anyone have this issue?

Did your brother run diagnostic for codes? What year, model, and engine does he have?
