Stuck upper balljoint

I've been doing the same for years. My BJs never get seized and it's super easy to separate them when needed.

Every ball joint I've ever done .I just used an air hammer on the side with a blunt end and a few quick sqeezes of the trigger, always let loose evertime.i think my old 98 ram was hardest i ever had.

I used everything I could think of, all the advice I got on here, bigger hammer, heat, lots of penetrating oil (and a cold beer, that was my idea) and broke it free.
Thanks again for all the tips. Hope no one else ever has to deal with the same issue. Now for some bigger tires and back behind the wheel.

I'm dealing with this same crap now and feel like I'm ready to fork out all my money to pay a mechanic.

Put your purse down. if that fails get out the Air hammer and torches .

You don't really want to put antisieze on the taper when you torque it down

You guys torque those things I just full send my 1/2 Gen 3 Milwaukee on #3 with some antisieze to my desired hammering tone.

Thats how its done in the rust belt.
