2014 1500 with keyless fob.
Problem: Was having problems with the panic button being hit by other things in my pocket when I sat down / bumped into things etc.
My solution: Popped it apart and clipped the white plastic part of the button with finger nail clippers. Don't have to have it perfectly flush, doesn't even have to be clean / pretty. Just shortened the nub. Re-assembled and the button still works (for me) 100%, just need to mash it a little harder. I haven't had an accidental panic attack since.
