is there USB chargers, switches or anything that FITS exactly in any of those removable slots??? Everyone knows they are easy to remove, but buying something that FITS there... is that even possible... where is a source for me to browse even???

THNX guys

The bottom area is where the heated and vented seat controls would be on the higher trim packages.

4th gen electronics can sell you upfitter switches. Its something at least: https://www.4thgenramelectronics.com/

These additional aux. switches are also fully controlled by alfaOBD once installed... a switch can be one without key in, it can also be a momentary switch for a horn or whatever... this thing is well worth the money!!!!

THNX again for the link.

Yeah, super cool right!
I just added the integrated trailer brake controller over the weekend and fired it up with Alpha OBD.
Super great to have that level of control and now my switch panel is fully utilized too.

The backside of my switch panel was solid, meaning I have no way to remove the switch faces and drilling through appears to not be an option either, I am sure there is a near full length PCB inside of there.
This may not be the case with a truck that only has 4 or 5 of those switches in place but my trucks panel has every one of those filled save for the diesel exhaust brake location that is not on my Hemi.

Well, as soon as I get the $$$ to put into this I am... THE END

Q: after install, did this show up the next time you went into AlfaOBD or did you have to do something else first???

You will have to tell the Body Computer (through the use of Alpha OBD and the OBDlink) that the vehicle is equipped with these switches. This 'activates' them as an integral part of the vehicle as far as I know. They guys who sell them should be able to tell you exactly what is up.

So I had to 'flip the on switch' in 4 areas in my truck computer using Alpha OBD to get the truck to show me the trailer controller. It was installed, but was being ignored essentially.,
