Yup, all it was was a bad rca cable. Works good now

Sweet man! Glad it was easy!

what midget moose wasnt good enough? trup that looks gorgeous, im glad you went the extra inch. i just realized you are in little rock. how long are you going to be there? we need to do a gtg in the spring if you are still there

Ive been stationed here for about 4.5 years now, so I'm about due for orders somewhere else. But some people end up staying in little for for 8-10 years, so who knows. I bought a house about a year and a half ago, and got that 8K tax credit. So as long as I own it for 1.5 years more, I wont have to pay it back. But to answer your question, yes Ill definately be here next spring. As soon as I get the gears/DTT done prolly around march or april, Im heading to the track. Maybe we can meet up with some others guys and have a forum track day? That would be SWEEEET!

Yeah, definately Bilstein 4wd HD shocks on all fours. Gonna run close to $300 for the set, but they'll be worth it!

Trup,
Front shocks should be ok as you only adjusted 1" lower than stock. The rear you will need drop shocks or shocks measured out to your new hieght. I measured the static distance from the lower mount to the top mount. Then I measure the distance from the axle to the frame. Subtract the two measurements. This give full compression lenght for the new shock. Add 5=6" to the static lenght and that will be the overall length. I used the Monroe chart to pick the correct shock. Then you can cross reference the Monroe number to the other brands if you don't like Monroe. I run Monroe's without issues. My next mod will be to replace the polyuthene 1" bump with a Aeon spring (A155-65). These compress to 3/4" hieght with a 650 lb rating.

Why can't I use the stock height shock? I have shock extenders for the rear. Bilsteins doesn't have drop shocks. Are monroe's gonna be heavy duty enough for a 4wd quad cab truck?

Have you looked around to see if BellTech offers a drop shock for your truck?

ahhh okay....when I was doing the whole lowered deal we would all swore up and down by Belltech...

People would actually swap their stock Billsteins on their Xtremes over to Belltech Nitro's

Get the measurement like Greg said and call Shockwarehouse and go from there. I know my Bilstens on my truck are for a lifted Bronco and had to change the bushings and eyelets but work better then what they offered for the rams at that time.

Hmm now I'm not sure. I talked to a couple people that said they thought belltech's were garbage and recommended Edelbrock IAS or DoeTech.

Thanks for your opinion though, I'll take it into consideration.
