I avoided Dodge Ram trucks for years because of the poor design of the auto transmission of the Gen 2 and 3 and the poor quality and fuel mileage of the 5.2L and 5.9L Magnum motors. I’ve owned a **** ton of other brand trucks over the years and am surprised how far Ram has come along.

Now I am surprisingly back in a Ram truck, this time for the long term. This Hemi 5.7L mated to the 8speed trans and the quality of the interior sold me on this truck. The truck always seems to be right in the torque band. It cruises well at 75-80. The interior is far superior to the Chevy, Ford, and Toyota trucks I have owned. The large navigation/entertainment screen is a huge plus. I’m impressed with all that the midnight/Bighorn package offers for the price.

It still needs some things: Leveling kit, 35” all terrains, hard locking tonneau, some Katskinz, and some interior bed lighting. 0D41C3FA-AC00-470C-B975-2EA74831A3F1.jpeg
