I was curious if there are any suspension variances between the 2009/2010 and 2014 and on Ram 1500 models.
I understand that Air Ride was added at some point, but I am not interested in that suspension type, rather the standard setup. I believe that 2009 was the first year of the rear coil spring application.
Reason for the inquiry is based on the new AEV Dualsport Suspension available to 2014 and up Ram 1500 models. I was curious if it would fit on a 2009-2013 model and if not, what are the major differences between the suspensions. Was there something that drastically changed in 2014 with the coils/geometry/etc. that make that much of a difference?
Looking forward to some education....called the AEV Tech Support personnel and they had no idea why the cutoff was 2014 versus 2009.
