Quick question.. I found a guy who wants to trade side mirrors with me. My flip up tow style for his non-tow. Ideally we're meeting in a parking lot almost two hours south of me (midway for both of us). Is it possible to remove and replace a side mirror without removing the entire door panel?

No short answer

Obviously if the non tow mirrors are also powef fold, you need to consider modules and switch

Modules require door panel to be removed.

Switch not so much.

Can be R&R in about an hour with simple tools.

Biggest issue is wiring. It's behind the door panel

Yeah that was what I expected, Just unsure of how long the pigtail is or what part of the door the module is mounted to. Top, inner, outer, etc. Waiting for better weather today/tomorrow to go through the motions.

Finally got it done! Was ghosted by the first guy.. twice. Third guys a charm(?), lol.

Now to work on getting them to be DRLs along with the front signals.
