I just finished up retrofitting my quad headlights with Morimoto H1 projectors, oracle halos, and Morimoto switchback halos.
I have no issues with the HIDs, projectors, or Oracle halos but I'm having a hell of a time with my switchback halos. I tapped my Oracle halos into my side marker light wire, I also tapped the white Switchback halo wire into the side marker light wire. I tapped the yellow wire of the switchback halo to the turn signal wire.
When I have only the oracle halos hooked up everything works fine, as soon as I hook up the switchback halos nothing works. The oracle Halos flash on and off along with the switchback halos and the factory side marker lights. Then if I put on my flashers nothing works and my dash says my turn signals are burned out. Then I just unplug the all the switchback wires and everything else works again.
Am I missing something obvious or are the switchback halos not able to be run on these trucks?
I have a 2015 if that has any effect on it and any information would be appreciated. The fact the the oracle halos work makes me wonder that it's something with the switchback halos themselves that is preventing them from working
