:) 6 months ago I traded my '08 JKUR in on my '16 RAM

The RAM won't go QUITE AS DEEP AS THE JEEP, but it's so much more useable for everyday duties-

I've been modifying it since new--

Quite a different vehicle !

Good luck

To bad you couldn't have both that would be a sweet setup to trailer up and go to the hills

Welcome! I traded a JKU Rubicon for my Ram...loved the jeep but wanted something better on the highway...As for cheap mods..Mine is now 2 months old and I have HID in the low and fogs (huge difference), debadged somewhat and plasti dipped the rest, added a trailer hitch (came with trailer brake but no hitch), LED licence lights and just mounted flush LED 30w back ups in the bumper...another huge help when backing up

Nice! I ordered the opt7 tail gate bar so I am going to see if I like it, and how much reverse light it provides. If its not enough or if I don't like the bar, those are definitely an option. Been trying to go through the entire under $100 thread and see what else I can do lol.

What do you guys think about intake/exhaust mods? I want to weld a new muffler right in and keep my dual tips. Any suggestions? And for intake, from reading thread after thread and post after post, I don't know if it's worth it?

Welcome! Saw you ask about the opt7 tailgate lights as well as how they look on the truck and didn't see anyone get back to you really about it. Here is a picture of the rigid opt7 on my truck, personally I love it. I've gotten some comments on it and they all liked it. I went with rigid so I'd have a better time mounting it, flexible is great if you need it but if you are going for a straight install rigid all the way. I ended up using the double sided tape that is on it and using RTV silicone all the way across the top of it to keep it in place.

Did you keep your stock wheels and tires with the lift?

Looks good. I got the light in and I am really struggling on finding a taillight wiring diagram so I can tap into the reverse wire. I want to know what I'm going at before I pull the light out. I don't have a wire tester and I didn't order the 7pin adapter so I plan on just tapping in once I know which wire it is.

And yes I kept the stock wheels and tires for now. One thing at a time. Lol. Hoping to have wheels and tires sometime in the summer.

I have both, but unfortunately, I removed my tow hitch to roll the rear end. I know you can get hidden ones, but naaah.

I did the same thing. I traded in my 07 wrangler that I had since new for a 17 ram.

Check out the Mufflex bolt in muffler kits from Moe's Performance. A lot of trucks are running them, including myself. Carven exhaust is also another bolt in muffler kit to look at as well.

Finished all the interior lights with a few pics attached, will take more at night time. All interiors came out GREAT though and very bright. Did dome, maps, visors, foot wells, upper glove box, and under the hood.

Also ordered the rest of the exterior lights, and DeeZee tailgate assist. More pics to follow later in the week. Another $200 spent today.......:puke:

In regards to the exhaust, I received advise to just cut out the rear smaller muffler from each pipe, and weld in straight pipes. I will still have the front stock muffler. Does anyone have any experience doing this? See a whole lot of aftermarket threads but don't see anyone just cutting out the rears? Will it sound good and not too obnoxious considering I still have the front stock muffler?
