Greetings! I just bought an ODBLink MX+ to replace my worn out keyfob. Worked great thanks to the help here!

I have a 2012 Laramie and it has a small dash screen and outdated maps. I'd like to use a tablet for navigation which is pretty straight forward to do. What I haven't found is anyone that has found a way to overlay some ODBLink information (like gauges, etc) on top of say, Google maps. I've been trying to find ODB apps that support android widgets, but so far have come up dry.

Has anyone done this or have ideas for where to look?

If your android tablet is relatively modern, it may support split-screen apps. Torque Pro is in the Play Store for $5 and can pull up live data from many different sensors. You might not be able to overlay them, but you could have them up side by side.

Actually you can overlay the data from Torque Pro app with the Torque Dashboard Plugin:

Thanks for the pointer. I just bought the app and installed the plugin. I add a gauge and it looks good on the main screen. As soon as I open an app, the gauge goes away. If I close the app, the gauge comes back. Do you have this?

I tried this out and it looks promising. The plugin thingy isn't working quite right so I may need to use this method. Thanks!

I played with it a few years ago but nothing recently. Check the Torque forum, usually can find answers. The developer has been good at supporting the app through version upgrades of Android
