Tail light LED issue...

Picked up some tinted tails from a RF member. They are beautiful. They came with LED bulbs and resistors. I got everything installed and hooked up. Brake light work perfect, reverse lights are great. Only problem is I do not have parking lamps in the rear. For some reason they don't come on. I switched back to the stock bulb and the passenger side parking lamp worked but not the driver side. I checked fuses and I did have a blown fuse. Replaced that and now the stock bulbs work in both sides. I don't know why the drivers side blew a fuse but not the passenger. Now the drivers side has been tapped into for the third brake light on my cap. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any ideas guys?

I don't understand the cap thing you have in there. I didn't have anything on my wiring. Just the resistor from the brake wire to ground and thats is.

What is the cap for? I have a cap but its in front for the HIDs

When I say cap I mean like camper top. Shell over the bed. A fiberglass top. They tapped into the harness on the left side for the third brake light at the top of the cap.

ahhh hmm. i'd like to see pics of the wiring and such. maybe something to do with it

wait, did you say you ran the wire from the brake light to ground? or the turn to ground.....

The resistor has two wires. Black is screwed to body and red is tapped into white wire with green tracer (the wire on the opposite side of the black wire in the factory harness).
