I got a Tyger T1 roll up tonneau cover that I installed about 2 weeks ago. It's been fine ever since as I haven't really touched it, had a few bad downpours and it stayed bone dry in the bed. Well I rolled it up for the first time today and now when I unroll it and latch it down there is a decent sized gap along the back where the weatherstripping on the cover is supposed to meet the top of the tailgate to seal it shut. I tried rolling & unrolling about 5 times and have gotten the same result. It will latch closed when I push down on it, both pins are locking in, but after pushing down and hearing it lock when I let go it pops up about 1/4 or 1/2". The drivers side is much worse than the passengers side which is almost flush at the corner but the gap starts to really show a couple inches towards the drivers side and gets bigger and bigger.

The tension adjusters are set to the "loosest" setting (slid as far towards the cab as they go). I tried adjusting them to tighten up the tension but that makes the problem worse, it makes the end of the cover want to pry up even more when its latched so I moved it back to the loosest setting.

I also tried adjusting the drivers side rail in/out a bit but no real change.

See pic and a video here. Anyone have this issue before? What would be causing this and how do I fix it? I'm pretty handy and have spent over an hour trying to get it right but am at my wits end...

If it mounts like my Truxedo cover maybe the front rail where the cover is mounted to the bulkhead moved?

Had this problem with an Access cover. Lowered the rails slightly to let the cover fit lower in bed sides.

Thanks for the input but I'm not sure how I would lower the rails because they sit up on the sides of the bed. Do the rails with the Access cover clamp to the inside to where you can raise or lower the rail?

I'll roll it up and take a look. I contacted Tyger and sent the same picture and video to them, of course their reply was that's normal and they can send me a bunch more weather seal strips to fill in the gaps. Yeah right.

Might just take the whole thing apart and re-install it.

I just put the same cover on my truck. Had a difficult time getting the tailpiece to latch. I shaved a burr off of the top of the latch bolt on both sides and it was just enough to let it slide in. Since then it latches stiff but not a struggle and seals like it should.

When you say "latch bolt" which piece are you referring to? The spring loaded pins that go in and out? I'm not having trouble getting it to latch, I can press down without a ton of effort and get it to latch just fine but it just pops up a half inch or so when I let go to where it's not sealed at all. Enough to where when the tailgate is locked someone could easily pull up enough on it and stick a hand in to pull the wire to release the latch and gain access.

Update - just realized the clicking sound it makes when it latches down is only coming from the passenger's side. The driver's side is not latching so I tried moving that rail both inwards and outwards and still couldn't get it to latch. After further inspection I realized the only way to get it to work was to shave down some of the plastic off the latching pin (which is what I think @Blkrvrbart was describing) in order create a tiny bit more space for it to pop out under the tab when closed. I used a pocket knife and it's about half way there, going to finish it off with a file. Must have been defective and had too much plastic from the factory, I did buy it "Used Like New" on Amazon (new but original packaging opened) so someone returned it before me.
Thanks for the suggestions.
