Tailgate cap options? 4th gen

Anyone find a good aftermarket 4th gen tailgate cap/spoiler. I have a 2010 tailgate, and the plastic cap is a little rough. I pretty much see the oem cap, and copies of the oem cap...anyone find a nice aftermarket option that may be a little tougher? If I don't find something better than what I have found so far...I may try line-x-ing mine.

I don't think there is anything aftermarket. At least I've never seen anything out there or on the forums. If there is, I'd be interested to see as well.

Every time I look, I just keep finding ppl claiming how lackluster the oe is, and how they break easy. I was hoping someone made an aluminum, or at least a thick abs one.

I have a Dee Zee full cover they also offer a top section cover. Neither will cover up the rounded edge, just fits into the sink basin area. See attached picture.

That looks really sturdy, and heavy. Do you need a winch to close the tailgate?

I saw that one but it just goes over the oe plastic cap.

No it is aluminum not that heavy. Never noticed any difference closing the tailgate after install. Had one on my last truck and it took a lot of abuse. I really need it, I use ramps to load sleighs and then I also drag sleighs across the gate when open. The plastic would never hold up.
