Tailgate latching mechanism rods

Seeking a tailgate latch rod for my '92 D250. Previous owner apparently had an issue with a broken clip and took
the driver's side latch and the rod out as one. Latches appear to be plentiful but if someone has experience
with one over another I'm all ears.
Dorman, LMC and Geno's are no-go.

Hey Shed. I looked high and low for this rod and you are right. Not available. For what it's worth the part number is 4211133. Looks like it's used for several different Dodge trucks. I've not looked at mine, but is this something that could be made?

Found an NOS part and will use it to make others. It's 3/16's inch with a 90º bend on each end.
Easy now that I have the dimensions.
