Going over my new to me 2014 Ram 5.7 Sport in detail, which has various trim additions prior to my ownership, I find that the ends of the rain guards and the ends of a similar kind of feature on the the edge of the front end in front of the hood were held down with some kind of double stick tape which has failed. My inclination is toward a quick repair, as Winter is on the way. I am familiar with an excellent 3M VHB, but are there any other suggestions?

I believe that 3M VHB is what I used on my Sierra fender flares. Only been on for a couple months so I don't know about longevity but it seemed to pretty dang strong when I accidentally put one of them on in the wrong spot and had to adjust it.

3m makes a tape just for body molding trim that holds up well. I use the vhb for all kinds of applications, mostly my off road vehicles and my snowmobile.it holds up to heat, vibration and moisture incredibly well.
