Template for tow hooks

I just go a set of tow hooks for my 17 ram sport. Does someone know of a template or measurements to cut the plastic in the front for the hooks? I do not want to cut too much.

there was a template floating around on here at some point. maybe try the search function for something like "tow hook install"

it was on a red truck. sorry i couldnt be of better help. i cut mine a little smaller than the template and kind of shimmyd the tow hooks through smaller holes. i really should take a better picture of mine

I eye balled both sides, came out just fine. The first side it about a half inch too wide. You could go 2 inches too wide and no one will ever notice.

Just buy the replacements with the precut holes. They are like $30.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Will the OE insert work? The ones listed on eGay are list for 2013 and up models.
