Well guys, I got more info on the bright light above the sky.
The Latest Worldwide Meteor / Fireball Reports: Meteor/Fireball Sighting Report Form
Heres a summary of the reports:
People from all over Texas and some of Oklahoma reported it. Was anywhere from 5-15 Seconds long. Some the size of the moon. And just as bright, or as bright as a camp fire. Went directly over Plano, and close to the end it died out and there was a boom sound.
