The Cooper Adventurer ATPs (275/65/20) on OEMs led a good long life, but time to upgrade to some big kid wheels and tires. Looks like this weekend there will be another upgrade.

And since I know you’ll ask . . . specs on the truck:

14 1500 Express 4x4 with Bilstein 5100s at 2.8 in front and Icon 1.5” springs in rear with Fox “Adventure”+3” shocks with a Zone 1.5” body lift.

I even found a set of knock off pocket flares locally, thinking I would need the extra coverage, but really like this look with the thin flares.

I also love that there’s literally no chrome anywhere on the truck save the antenna base, the screws/nuts/bolts on my hood cubes and some Allen head nuts on the wheel center caps. I got the look I’ve wanted for so long finally. Now it’s time to sift through the suspension and such and refresh all of that to make her run tight and squeak free for the foreseeable future.

Only had them on about 100 miles, they hum a little bit at highway speeds but otherwise I like them.

Still hum a bit but are wearing well and even, I recommend them to anyone looking for a relatively “inexpensive” set of 35” hybrid AT/MT tire.
