You ordered these wheels?

Naaaa. Was just joking. They would be nice on a lifted truck with some insanely wide tires. They certainly are asking a lot of money for them.
Though compared to the $18,000 set of 30" wheels I saw at the shop that mounted my tires last week, these are a bargain.

Were they going on a 1987 Cutlass? :party36:

If you want those wheels just buy them....the reality is nothing else is gonna make you 100% happy so just do it.
I get sick of people ******** about what stuff costs...its probably just hating because they can't afford to stroke that check.
Build your truck for you...screw everyone else.

I wish it was that simple. I gotta keep it responsible for my family and future goals. I don't want to think that a portion of our new house down payment is riding underneath my truck.

I wish lifting a truck wasn't so damn expensive. All things considered, it would run me about $5-6k at least to get a lift, tires, those rims, and 4.56s. I better make some good stock trades to justify this :D

You are right!
It surely isnt cheap to do a lifted truck.
But....I am waiting to see what they say about these wheels as I really want to stick with 37's if I can get the specs on these wheels.
If close to the low 20lbs, this is something to consider......

I agree....either of them (black, chrome or polish) would look stunning on a lifted truck

No thank you. Those are something you see on a stance/slammed vehicle with rolled fenders.
And that price... Good God, I'd rather get a ram runner lift that deal with that.

See what they say. You might want to check out Centerline if you haven't seen them before. They're the only quality company I'm aware of that will have a reasonable deal on rotary forged wheels (my last set was all four for $650 on an overstock special). I might give them a call to see what some 20x10s run when I get closer to upgrading.

Yes and no!
These will work well on either.

The Grizzly in black is starting to grow on me the more I look at it. Not sure if I'd rather do that or go with a straight split spoke like that American Force or Moto Metal 951.

With the difference between forged/cast wheels, has anyone had any issue with breaking cast wheels using a large tire?

You're 18. Go to college and get a good job then you won't have to "deal" with that price...you'll be able to afford to buy what you want when you want it instead of hating on something someone else likes.

That price isn't bad for a high quality forged wheel....not everyone buys their wheels at Discount Tire or 4 Wheel Parts on a buy 3 get 1 free special.

Unbroken, you reach out to Morr's or Forged1 for those forged wheels?
Or did you find something already?

Scratch these off the list for me :mfr_closed1:....they are too damn heavy for being forged!

20x10 = 38lbs
20x12 = 41lbs

These should be much lower.....but possibly because they are forged aluminum....not sure!
