So heres the dilemma. My first project is to get my Engine shroud painted. My friend has his own bodyshop and I am having him do it. Heres the paint scheme I am going with.

I also have a couple other upgrades I would like to do but unsure which should take priority. I have been wanting to do the Bilsteins 5100 front leveling kit but I am not a mechanic and afraid if I have my son and his buddy do it, they may run into problems with bolts seized or etc. Also, thought I read that I believe they said that the balljoints have to be taken apart or something. Maybe the ad I read was talking about a different install. Please correct me if I am wrong. Shp wanted over $600 to install and front end align. I also like the looks of the oem fender flares. Not the ones that stick out 3-4", the stock oem flares, but heard horror stories about water getting behind them and rusting over time. I also like the looks of the Cab/Clearance lights but again, heard that they leak if not properly installed. And will be getting the 3rd light (Center) wired into the other 2, very soon. Really like the LQQKs of the 3 lights across the Bullbar.

I just did the 5100s a few weeks ago, if you have ever done any other struts before these are the same. I did not run into any surprises and as far as the balljoint all you do is take a nut off and tap it with a hammer. Compressing the springs was by far the worst part as my battery powered impact was not strong enough. If your son is not experienced in doing struts including torquing the bolts back on I recommend having a professional do it, too much can go wrong if something lets go up there. Anyway I feel the truck sits and rides MUCH better after being leveled, I went for 2.1" just to make sure I did not have the front higher than the back.
