Rims alone are prolly worth double that easy, add tires that set up cost a pretty penny. If you are hurting for tires, and like rockstars i would do it. But me persalonally i hate 20s and hate rockstars lol
thats not terrible considering your getting the rims too, personally i wouldnt touch 20" rims on 33's but everyone has their own taste.
i just picked up a used set of 36" swampers 50% tread (actually 35s with wear) on 15'" amer. racing outlaw 2 for $200. the swampers are pretty much worthless at that point but i got some sweet rims and one season tires for less than the cost of the rims.
my advice is that if you dont know the guy (even if you do) find out the tread depth when new and take a caliper with you to see how much wear they actually have. they way i see it 70% tire left if your paying less than 70% of msrp its a deal especially since you dont have to pay to have them mounted and balanced.
those tires are around 240 new so at 70% wear that brings the value to about $670 so basically your paying $30 for 20" rims and 4 tires mounted and balanced. If you look at it that way yea its a deal.
I used to have 33s on 20s heres a pic
They looked ehh ok like mentioned above to each their own. And i would agree with the measuring of the depth compared to brand new. But it is a deal none the less. You need to make sure you can run these as well like any kind of offset.
