That's the size of the bore. Like it says on Fastmans site, he recommends the 68.5mm bore.

Another company called F&B does them too, I found a sale on them at AirRam Performance, F&B bores there's at 68, 70 and 72mm.

Here is some info from F&B on their 4.7 TB's...

But you need the ability to tune for the additional air flow. For this reason 72MM is only suggested if you have plans for custom tuning. If you do not plan custom tuning and only plan to use a SUPERCHIPS tune then 70MM is the largest suggested size that we recomend. With Superchips the 70MM will perform better then the 72MM. But with custom tuning the 72MM will out perform the 70MM.

The new Magnum 4.7L overhead cam motor is a great design. For most light vehicles (Dakota, 2x4 Durango, 2x4 Ram 1500) the 70mm 4.7-00 TB is the best choice. Due to the many different software revisions for these vehicles (2x4 Ram, Dakota Durango) performance gains vary. The earliest 4.7s see the largest gains with increases of 7-11hp and 6-12ftlbs of torque on a stock motor. The 68mm 4.7 TB works well for the heavier vehicles (4x4 Rams, 4x4Durango’s) and the 72mm 4.7 is for lighter vehicles looking for maximum gains. Motor modifications recommended for maximum gains from the 72mm 4.7 are: headers, cat back exhaust, high flow air intake, computer flash, factory HO or after market Cams. The 72mm 4.7 is ideal for factory HO motors.

I plan on doing a few engine mods, 08 intake manifold and maybe cams later down the road. Already have cai. Im guessing 68 mm would be ideal for me??

Just avoid the knife edge on the TB, some take well to it, others become WAY to sensative. Mine would litterally jump 10ft with a tap on the gas with the knife edge. Great for track and running straight where a hard jump is needed, but bumper to bumper traffic was a nightmare. Damn near hit 30 people on my drive home after installing it, needless to say it was removed and sent back for one without the knife edge. It was a little less sensative but still made it feel quicker. Removed it and sold it when I got my tune and cam in for personal preference. May end up with another depending on what I plan to do with my truck this year.
