Okay when I replaced my third brake light with my LED smoked one my cargo lights quit working. However, The brake light still works. I had them send me a new 3rd brake light same problem. Now I noticed there is a relay of some sort wired up to my third brake light. I am assuming that is why my brake light was flashing when I had the stock on in there. My question is this relay factory? Would it effect my led cargo lights to not work? I have checked the fuses and everything checks out good. Help me if you have any ideas.

Some dealers will install a third brake flasher in there which costs about $20 and 5 minutes to install but jack the price up to $300 claiming enhanced safety. The one that they installed in my wifes car had a red stop sign on it with some sort of verbage. Its garbage and can be removed or disconected if it bothers you as it did to her.

It doesn't bother me but I want my cargo lights to work. I am wondering if the relay would hinder my lights from working being that a led is different. Gould be a normal diode I know it is receiving power on the anode and cathode but what are the chances that 2 are bad

So what do y'all think? The factory one works and the led doesn't.
