i used gimp surprisingly lol and i used my 3.2 mega pixel camera off my lg dare

Don't worry you don't sound stupid. It's command +shift+3 on a mac. I think Daniel will chim in and let us know how to do this on a pc.

Its the print screen key on a pc keyboard, it saves the image to the comps clipboard, then paste it into whatever program you use

Try this. Open the program then push the prnt scrn button on the keyboard. Open paint then hit ctrl v that should paste it to paint. Then file then save. Save as a jpg. Then upload it to photobuket and post as normal pic.
