Thanks man! I think the black really sets off the color, especially your red! I've watched your build for a while, love your truck!

Thanks brother, I appreciate that! Like I said, if you need help/advice on installing those cab lights, let me know and I'll be glad to help in any way I can (minus me coming out there and installing them for you...) lol!

hardest part about installing the cab lights is that first hole you drill in your roof lol...

Hey everyone I have a 25x8 1/2 foot enclosed toy trailer and was wondering how much better tow mirrors will be to see around it vs my sport mirrors? Is it worth it? Any info will be appreciated
Thanks in advance!

This is the trailer

Tow mirrors are absolutely worth it. I pull a 38' 100" wide rv and Tow mirrors allow me to see around it so easily.

It would work better, but then your beautiful looking sport would be a little ugly.

You can buy caps for the mirrors and paint them to match

If I towed that trailer a lot I'd want the tow mirrors to be able to move the mirrors out past the edge of the trailer and use the lower convex section to see in your blind spot and keep an eye on the tires/wheels on both units.

I'd suggest you go down to a dealer, find a unit with tow mirrors, flip them up and give it a good look.

Heck, take the trailer to the dealer with you, back up a truck with tow mirrors up to it and see how it looks.

Deffinetly worth upgrading and having them painted to match.

That’s a good idea I didn’t think about doing that. Thanks!

Wouldn't go without them. They make it so easy to see everything and love how they look. Regular mirrors just look to small to me for such big trucks

Okay perfect, I tow it just about every weekend in the winter. Thanks for the input!

They look way better on 2500s than 1500s imo but if you got a good enough look you can pull them off for sure. Thanks for the input!

True. Bone stock 1500 would maybe look a little better with regular mirrors. I added them to my 1500 that was lifted with 35's and they looked perfect. My 2500 is leveled and they fit perfect to the look of the truck

I might be in the minority here but I prefer the mirrors on my Sport than the tow mirrors, which were on my Laramie. I did use my tow mirrors for hauling my 26' camper, but to be honest I could get along fine without. I found that it was great to have the tow mirrors because you could adjust those little mirrors downwards to your wheel track, which were a huge help in backing up. BUT I found the tow mirrors, believe it or not, had a bigger blind spot next to your truck, especially on the right hand side. I don't know how many times I found a motorcycle or small car next to me when shoulder checking the right after seeing NOTHING in the right side mirror. And mine were adjusted fine, I assure you. I've commented to myself many times how it was weird that these mirrors had such a big blind spot. Well, fast forward to 3 months ago when I changed to my Sport with the regular sport mirrors and BAM, the blind spot is completely gone and I feel much more comfortable in the heavy Montreal traffic. All I did was add those little adjustable mirrors to the corners to see my wheel base when towing my camper or my boat and it works fine.

So conclusion, yes the tow mirrors were handy, but I MUCH prefer the nearly zero blind spot of the sport mirrors. After all, I drive in traffic way more often than I do hauling a trailer. And like some folks said, I think they look much better.

Just my 2.2 cents :)
