Temp sensor on tow mirror?

Can someone confirm for me if there is a spot for a temp sensor on 2013+ tow mirror? I got an aftermarket one works fine after swap.. been a couple of years but I'm noticing the temp reading in the car is way higher than outside temp (119f when it's a brisk 70f outside) I still have my original non tows and knows they have the sensor and see the spot for them but wanted to validate that the oem tow mirrors has it too?

Yes I believe the OEM tow mirrors on my 2017 have the temp sensor in the drivers side mirror.

I have standard mirrors on my 2017 Tradesman. My outside temp reading isn't accurate either...5-10degC higher usually. Maybe just poor design?

If the mirror is in the sun it will read much higher until you drive the vehicle for a while.
