looking for wiring diagram for a 2006 RAM 1500 5.7L electronic throttle control (pcm, ecm, etc...) I am getting a lighting bolt warning, replaced battery, throttle body controller, gas pedal module, truck starts, run good, drives good, after running for about 20 min the truck just shut off. even while idle. Then it will not start, after it sets for about an hour, truck starts fine, symptoms repeat itself, any suggestions

I disabled my EGR by pulling the exhaust return pipe and stopping the flow, zero flow. Truck through codes regularly between 60mi and 90 miles, even the lightening bolt once or twice (I didn't know that was why) but it never caused my truck to shut down nor any difficulty starting it, with or without the CEL turned on.

The EGR on the 2500 is somewhere around $180 and 10 days out any where I tried to find one in CO. I plugged it instead of replacing it to see if the truck problem / initial codes were affected.

I know that's not a whole lotta help but might save you a little time.

I had the same problem. Crankshaft sensor solved the problem. Happened again after 3 months. Another crankshaft sensor fixed it again for another 3 months. Now I am trying to figure out what is causing the sensors to fail. Changing the sensor is easy. One bolt easy to get at and a wire to clip on. Sensors are about 30 to 40 dollars. May be worth a try.

Hi, I have a 05 rumble bee with the same problem, i changed: camshaft sensor, trothlebody, crankshaft and ecu. The truck still shut of after a while and will start back after 30-60 minutes. when ignition switch is on the lighting bolt stay on for a few seconds, after that the check-engine icon flashes and stay on.
