Has anyone tried these? I'm thinking of putting them on my Ram 1500, instead of airbags, maintenance free, lifetime guarantee. I know neither one will raise payload, but looking for less sag & more stability when close to capacity.

bags or coils depends on what you want to spend. coils will give you a little stiffer ride all the time if you dont mind that where as bags wont. just dont buy the timbrens

I had no problem with Timbrens on my 2003 2500. They kept it from squatting when I towed my camper. It rode as smooth as always (for a 2500). Maybe things are different with the 1500's.

I didn't think they were bad. Best part was not dealing with the air in air bags. I think the airlifts felt a little softer but.....I had about 9k behind my truck That I just sold. If anybody is looking for a set, I'll let them go for $100+ shipping. Only had them on the truck for a few months And only towed a few times. Getting an hd truck now. They were off a 14 ram 1500

That sounds like a good deal if you want them. I was LOADED down when I first used them so that played a big part in the roughness of the ride. When I added the bags it really softened it up with the same load in/on the truck.

I thought it's a good price considering they are around 2 bills and these are new. When I had my bags in they leaked. I wasn't going to deal with that.

Had Airlift 1000's & a wired compresser installed Fri. Haven't towed or hauled anything yet but looks like they will work fine. At 5 psi no change in ride or ride height. I thought the compresser was a good idea as it will maintain the pressure without having to add air all the time. lets face it they will all lose a little air over time.
