Hey guys I have an exhaust leak that I think is coming from the headers somewhere so if that is going to be fixed I might just go aftermarket. whats the best bang for your buck on headers? nothing that would upset the o2 sensors or anything crazy priced

Shorties are probably your best option for non O2. Pretty much plug and play.

You might google around for some Edlebrock short tubes. Discontinued in '06, but can still find them new-old stock for a great price.

I found some NIB ceramic coated for $250 shipped! Much better than the stock logs.

The old o2 sensors just plug into the new headers? Wont throw any check engine codes?

The sensors are just mounted on the y-pipe. the headers bolt to the y-pipe.

No, it will not change a thing with your o2 sensors.

That said, if your sensors are 80K + old, you should change them out anyway. Old upstream sensors can cause problems with your air fuel ratio when they die/fail.
I suspect a faild o2 sensor killed my catylitic conveter...:(
