Tinted Headlights and HID?

Hello,

I was wanting to know if anyone has tinted their headlights annd used a upgraded HID kit for their truck. Due to the light lossed for tinting what would everyone recommend for a HID kit. I also have 4 PIAA on my aftermarket bumper they are the cystral Ions so they have a yellow tint to them.

Yea I ran tint on my headlights, had to put in hid's cause I couldn't see ****. Never got flashed either.

On this forum, you're gonna get a lot of people telling ya not to tint and to go with a retrofitted setup. It is what I did, and what I did on my last truck also. Amazing light output while being completely blacked out.

yeh wouldn't tint them..pretty pointless

It looks fantastic. Just needs hids. Some people can't justify spending 5,6,700$ on headlights no matter how nice they are

Ya I agree. I would rather spend money on lift or side steps instead of something that works but I want a bit different look. Plus I could use the HID kit and then get it retroed later when Im happy with everything else.
