Tire advice

I'm looking to change my OEM SRA Goodyears. I've hated them from day 1.
The replacements can just be a summer tire as i have another set of wheels with KO2 s which i can use for the winter if neccessary.
I don't like the extra weight of the KO2 s and would like something same weight as the stock tires as i can feel quite a difference when i swap them over.
I don't go offroad and would like an improvement over the SRA s poor wet weather and handling. I don't neccessarily require the aggressive allterrain look
I do around 10,000 km per year.

I agree the sra's are crap. I got the goodyear wrangler adventure all terrain with kevlar its a great tire very smooth & quiet

I prefer the Falken Wildpeaks. Quiet and excellent in rain.

These look great. Is your truck height altered in any way? I have 2018 2500 and I have stock yours .... But my tires look really small compared to yours. What size your you using?

You are in Ontario, you need snow peak rated tires. If you want all terrain, the top rated were General Grabber ATX & Falken Wildpeak AT3.

I have the Generals and am very pleased. General Tire is owned by German Continental Tire, but tires were made in USA, at Georgia Plant I believe. Falken is a brand of Japan Sumitomo, made in Thailand. At the time I bought, BFG KO2 were not highly rated - expensive, noisy, short life. Some say Cooper has improved tremendously with their gen III AT's, and still made in USA.

I already have KO2 s for winter. I don't need snowflake. I want a summer/wet weather tire for mostly highway use

Ok, that's different - most of us can't afford to run two sets of tires (and rims). Have no idea what an all season or highway tire would work best.

Michelin LTX Defender M/S great in rain and dry. Long mileage, very quiet and comfy ride. I have had 5 sets on 3 different vehicles, including a 2014 Ram 1500.

I just bought a new set of Cooper AT3 4S for my 2019 Ram DT 1500. They look good & quiet but I haven't had them long enough to give a legitamit review.

Continental Terrain Contact HT. Long lasting, lightweight, it'll be a nice commuter tire with nice all season traction.
