I have two questions.

1) Anyone have a 2019 with a 3.21 gear and bigger heavier off road tires? Did it make a difference in drivability? Ie. does the 3.21 highway gear mated to the 8 speed have issues turning the extra mass associated with the bigger tires? Is the truck noticeably more sluggish?

2) Anyone know what is the biggest size tire you can fit under a stock 19 with no rubbing issues? I would like to stay with an 18" wheel.

Specifically.....
Without a level, on stock suspension, Factory 18x8 wheels with 5.25 backspace (19mm) - Can i fit:
275/70/18 @ 33.39"
295/70/18 @ 34.25"

Thanks

If you increase tire diameter too much you will make the acceleration more sluggish,as far as more weight goes, mpg might suffer. Here is a good tire calc where you can compare tire to tire. I have upsized on a ford f150 4x4 to 10 ply E tires maybe 3-4% larger and other than being stiffer, not much different

I'm not sure how much you can fit staying stock (I'm lifted 3.5"), but I have the 3.21 gears at 34x11.5x20 tires and have NO ISSUES with acceleration whether it is from a stop or passing on the highway.
You can always add the pedal commander to increase pedal response and make it "feel" faster.
MPG does suffer a bit.

I think I'm going to throw a 2" leveling space up front. Rough country advertises being able to run a 295/60r20 with the 2" level. I really wonder if a 295/70r18 will work. The difference in height is minimal. 33.90 vs 34.25 . The other option is 275/70r18 which comes in at 33.39.

Planning on running powder coated stock wheels.

Anyone running the more popular 295/60r20 with a stock wheel and 2" level? Rubbing? Pics? How much room do you have? Brand of tires?

I'm running 275/65r20 BFG KO2s. I have a levelikg kit on now but originally installed them on the stock suspension and has zero issues.
