All,

I have 42,000 on the original 20 "Goodyears that came on my 2015 Express crew cab. I am looking for a replacement recommendation. I do not tow anything and it is generally a light duty around town driver since I retired. We do go to Orlando to visit family a few times a year.

Any recommendations for a replacement set that a provides a good ride with low noise. Annual mileage is under 10,000.

Thanks in advance

Michelin Defender LTX if you don't care about price.

I may try the Continental CrossContact's when's it time for me to upgrade. I do care about price, though I might squeeze the money somehow to get the Defender's.

Michelin Defender LTX M/S.
Worth every penny.

unless you enjoy tire shipping every 40K or 50K miles or enjoy changing out flats.
Then Michelin's would not be for you.
They last FOREVER.

I get tires at 5/32nds or 4/32nds and usually get well over 70k out of a set. sometimes 80K, before they wear down to that level.
If I went to legally bald, 2?32nds, could get another 10K or so out of a set but it's not worth it.

Tires are cheaper than my deductible and being without my vehicle while its in the body shop

Hercules makes great tires that wear great and are quiet.
