Guys (and gals)..... Honestly I know very little about tires.
My truck currently has 275 60 R20 all season tires.
I can get a set of winter tires for a reasonable price but they're 275 55 R20
Would the difference in size be an issue or set off any bells or whistles in my truck??
Any help is appreciated.

They are a little smaller diameter , you’ll be fine ... You should really go to Tire Rack and take 5 min to educate yourself about tires ... It better to know, than have to be told ...

I'd rather educate myself here, but I appreciate the input Bowersf.
I DO realize they are a smaller size, just didn't know how much "smaller" you could go before the trucks ECU threw some codes.

Might want to look at the Falken's of the same size I just added them to my truck 2 weeks ago since the OEM where EOL I have seen very good reviews of them in winter conditions. I got them at American Tire about $925 installed WITH the full lifetime replacement warranty.

I ride around on 275/55-20 full time now since modifying BellTech 2-4 lowering kit. Only issue is speedo is 2 mph off at 60 and around 3 at 80. As long as I don't think about it and compensate, traveling slower than I think so slightly less of a ticket ifI ever get pulled over.
