I keep 3 sets of tires,,

20" Cooper SST's

17" X 35" Micky Thompson Baja Claws

17" Street type tires used for 1/4 mile racing, random brands, I replace them every so often, as I burn them down.

a pair of 17" X ?? Tires used for burn outs, usually large 35" tires, they smoke the best. I usually do 4~5 really good burnouts a year.

Nitto Terra Grapplers 295/70-18 load range E. Still fairly new but ride good and minimal noise.

Nitto Trail Grappler 305/55/20 love them so far but only have about 3-4k miles on them! They look great and pretty quiet too, about $1200. Winter tires are Kumho Road Venture's AT 305/55/20 and these do pretty well also, about same price as the nitto's!

Cepek FCIIs for me also.

Lots of good tread left at 31k miles on them. Just look at my handy dandy tire depth gauge. I got hundreds of these gauges laying around...

Nice touch Hammer, Is there a steering stabilizer with those big boys your running? Have you have an opinon on the swaying I'm experiencing?

No steering stabilizer. Haven't had any problems with these to date but I bought the "D" load range tire (50 PSI max) for that reason.

The only two sets of "E" tires I've ever owned (one on a Furd Diesel, the other on my 2nd Gen Ram) both handled a bit harsh at highway speeds. Never did figure out what exactly caused it. It wasn't bad, but noticeable in both cases...

Thanks for the feedback, I'll let a few heat cycles go thru them. And leave them at 60 psi. I haul 600 lbs every now and then so I should be good. No sense lowering the pressure if your use is limited at the moment. Gas , work,
