was wondering what size tires have you guys upgraded to without compromising the ride and without suspension mods. also what brand and model tire you used. I have the stock 275/65R18 Goodyear Wrangler fortitude HT which is a great tire with a great ride but I was looking for something a little bigger and it would grab and move slush/ snow better.

thanks.

My winter tire recommendations: The best studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta that money can buy in stock size on their own steel rims...

.... but then again, my winters are probably a little different than yours.

For star Deciever I am guessing that is a great option as those are very good tires. I just purchased the Falken AT3 and am very happy with it right now as it has the snowflake on it. I have ran BFG All terrain KO2 and those worked pretty well also on my last truck.

Excellent advice on the Nokian tires. They are the best snow tires I've ever used, for all types of winter driving. Studded or non-studded. I prefer non-studded, but that's because I've had issues with studded tires. And I don't like dealing with the local laws on when you can and can't run them.

But it sounds like the OP is looking for more of an A/T tire. For that, I've been impressed with the Falken Wildpeak AT3's that came stock with the ORG. But really, any A/T tire with the 3PMSF symbol will work fine for that purpose.

I stepped out from the norm, Nitto, BFG, Cooper etc and bought the Fuel Mud Gripper and I couldn't be happier. 15k and they still look new, nice lugs, side grip, they aren't noisy like a mud tire at all and I'd say they are more like a A/T than an M/T. Tread pattern looks awesome as well. 35x12.5x22. You don't need to pay $400 a tire to get a great ride.

Those look like nice tires for off-road, And I'm glad you're happy with them. But I'm a little dubious about using them in snowy conditions. In listing your location as Sc I'm not sure if you're in SoCal or S. Carolina, but either way I suspect you aren't going to run into too much snow there LOL. I found this rating for those tires...

I know this is an ancient thread im a noob to the forum and tried searching to no avail
anyone have any experience with these Nokian Tire One HT Tires | Car Truck All-Season Tires | Discount Tire they sound PERFECT for my needs just asking before i re shoe my Abigail :)
Depends on the conditions you'll be driving in (I don't know where "HAMMOND" is LOL). They are an all-season tire, which means they're adequate for all seasons. But they don't excel in any season. Nokian makes great tires, and I'm sure they will be at least as good as the all-season tires that are original equipment on some Ram 1500's. But I probably wouldn't use them where I live in SE Washington state. Although my needs are probably different than yours.

On my 2016 I was able to put on some 33/12.5/20 without having to do anything.
The stock tire profile on that truck was 60 if I recall, or maybe 65...
Anyways my 2021 has 275/55/20's.
Would the same rule apply that I can do a 33/12.5/20 without any real issues.
