have 04 quad cab withthe infinity system in it and have been happy with it. just instlled new pioneer head unit and bought the gizmo that lets me retain the factory amp and another gizmo that lets me retain steering wheel controls. That bein said i just noticed one of the factory 6x9 front door woofers is very muffled! blown more than likely so i went to crutchfield chat and the guy says at first to get Infinity reference and bypass the factory amp so that i get a full spectrum signal to the new "infinity reference components" then after a few minutes i questions him some more and he changed his advice to j"install those infinity ref. comp. speakers to factory amp and it will be fine"! i think he was just getting tired of my questions and wanted me to shut up and go away! whats your take? if i have 3 tweeters in the dash why do i need 2 more in the door and is there a les expensive 2 way i can hook up to factory amp setup without having to do the bypass riggamorrol!? What have you guys done and been happy with?
