Good Morning Everyone, Having an issue installing a soft tonneau cover because the arms on the clamps hit a truck bed side rail. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Manufacturer told me to use the slot closer to, but if you look at the pictures there would be nothing for it to grab onto. he then told me I could cut the arms but then it would be harder to actually close the cover.
Has anyone found a different way to do this? perhaps an alternate arm?

Maybe sand down the part that is making contact with the bed rail or see if there is a way to bend them slightly outward to not make contact. If those are hard plastic I don't know if you could heat them to make them bend out? Out just cut off the end piece that makes contact? Edit: It looks like there is only 3/4 of an inch that you would need to trim off. I don't see that as making it hard to close the clamp..

Remove the utility rails if they're in the way.

Yes I would cut the levers shorter so they clear.
