Tool Box

does anyone know of a tool box that will mount under the rail on 2018 2500 6’4” bed. All I can seem to find is the bakbox which looks to me like cheap plastic and you also have to buy their tonneau, it also appears that it doesn’t have a lid and isn’t lockable. The second one I found was the Mopar rail system but damn $300 for the rails and another $700 for the box, ouch.

I’m also not fond of the fond of the swing case boxes that mount back by the tailgate.

I have a trifold tonneau cover already, was just trying to find a box that could mount under the rails.

Do you have it bolted to the floor?

No, I got so much crap in it, it's heavy enough it doesn't move around. It sits on the bed rug.

I tried it for a 18 b4 posting and same same. Dont know why a 18 Ram isnt on the site but 17s are!?

17 & 18 are the same truck. I order a lot of parts for my 18 under the 17 YM.

I bought from a local truck accessory shop. You can buy something like it from places that sell truck accessories or places that sell tools.

I believe this is the model I got from Tractor Supply. It is Rebranded ,I forgot the maker but it is a know company who make s it! It may be made by Dee Zee ,I ll see if I still have the papers on it

I have this box and it’s bolted down. It works as advertised lol. I’d still prefer a weathergaurd

I have one from Home Depot I purchased a long time ago for a different truck that still fits. The only issue you will have with a trifold is having to un hook it to open the box.
