Topper options

Hi people!
Just wanted to let you all know who like to have a topper. I put my z Series ARE topper on my new 19 from my 17. ARE told me that they are making a new mold for the 19’s but this sucker fit great on the new truck. Cost an extra 65$ for wiring the tail light and wireless lock but fits and looks awesome with no leaks.

Looks great, are you able to open the tailgate with the rear window down ? I’ve never owned a topper but like the look on certain trucks.

You can’t utilize the auto open tailgate with the topper. Disappointing but, for me, I don’t mind that much. I just love the look!

Looks great. I like the look of those things for sure! When trucks went to the 4 door gigantic size I always thought they looked a bit off...they're much better looking nowadays but I think those toppers really clean up the look of a crew cab. Am I correct that you got the same color on both trucks?

That is correct. Granite Crystal. I lucked out on the topper when I bought it a year ago. Guy ordered it for a 5’7” except he had the 6’2”! Haha

So would I be correct in saying that all 4th gen ram 1500 5.7 beds are the same as the 19's? I'm looking at a used 4th gen topper and was curious if it would fit? Cant get any physical measurements at the moment. Any and all help would greatly be appreciated! I have read that most of the TRI fold covers are fitting the 19's, So hopefully the toppers will as well.

The bed on the 19s are a bit deeper with higher sides.

I may be wrong but I believe someone on here has done this, might be able to find where he posted it. I remember it was a dark gray 5th gen, I believe with Pennsylvania plates.
