Ok so I'm running a circle D 3200 stall TC, but I have recently blown three transmissions within 5 miles of install. Not sure why I keep doing it but this last one was built by jerry and ray and super street performance so I know it was not a crap build. So I'm getting another one built, and going to change out TC too.... Question what is everyone running? What can I rely on best?
My build sheet is on profile...

I have a billet circle-d 3200 in my 04 since I had trans #2 put in which is shy of 6k miles an for daily driving I don't like it seems to loose. I had a 2600 before an it was nice but it all depends in what you planning with truck an you got some heavy mods

The TC goes in line with the tune, the cam and the rest of your build.

Based on what you do with the truck, and the above a specialized shop is the best place to get advice about which TC would be best for your setup.

I'm curious as to what gives in the tranny you have blown so far? That might give a clue as to why you are blowing them, but I suspect the high stall TC just bang the tranny way too hard so a lower TC might help you get out of the hole faster without busting all the gears in the tranny.

But as I said in the first phrase the TC has to be in line with the rest of the build.

Gotcha, well I have ran this TC with my stock trans since 2011 with no problems I loved it! But since I have these new trans I keep blowing the hell outta em... I'm gonna talk to jerry some more and also to my tuner to see what they are thinking. It is my daily driver but I do take to the track as well.

Tune related? Never heard of that, when I got it tuned the only thing we did was adjust AF, and idle to make it run with new injectors and SC and such... How would a tune effect that?

Tune wise is that if your tuner altered MAP voltage to run the larger injectors vs scaling them through injector pulse width. If he altered the 2 BAR MAP sensor voltage you'd only see 1/2 the line pressure. Since your actual line pressure didn't increase as you raised the rpm, nor the fact you don't have a CEL, my factory trans engineer thinks there might be a hemorrhage problem like I said which could be from a split or cracked transmission filter where its sucking more air than fluid. Also I talked with my tuner and he stated that the DRB3 Star Scan might not be able to recognize an other than stock tune. Maybe send jmgak your tune file for a peek see to see how the injectors where tuned. Also being an 04 there is no trans tuning however there are 5 input signals that the pcm uses that effect line pressures. I'll keep you posted after I get the transmission back. Also, sounds like your converter will be going back to Chris for a cut and clean. I'll also have Ray explain to him about the wavy tq curve you seen at the dyno session.

Been running 3400 Edge Billet for 4 years (brought it used as a 3200 and had Andre cut/clean and up the stall to 3400) and it's working great. Still on original trans w/ 134k.

I now have both your transmissions. With the one I built for you, I'm guessing the torque converter wasn't seated all the way and sheared the lugs off the pump drive gear. Thus the reason you didn't have line pressure. No biggy, I'll have it back to you soon. I'll tear into your other transmission and see what's up with that one. From a quick check there's excessive input shaft end play. Probably from a crushed thrust bearing during assembly.
