Total towing weights for 2500/3500

I may be in the market SOON for a 2008-2011 Dodge Cummins 6.7.
I currently have an '08 Ram 2500/6.7 4x4 Laramie. I haul an average of 9000-12,000 lbs total weight with it. ...over the mountains in Coloado.
I'm thinking I'd like to move up to a 3500 laramie, and an wondering what their total weight (trailer included) hauling capacity is???? I have a 25' flatbed gooseneck that weighs around 5,000#
Love love love my truck, but I'd like to be able to haul more weight of possible with a3500. Any better year between 08-11 to buy? I know i should look at trucks with the heavier 4:11 rear ends as well! Thanks for any advice! Cowgirl hay haler.

Google something like "3500 Ram towing specs" and you should get right to a PDF document that breaks it all down very nicely. There's a lot of variation depending on the rear end ratio, engine, options, etc, etc.

I finally just saved the one for my 2500 to my computer since I always forget the #s.
