Tow Hook Install?

Odd that my 2016 Big Horn 4x4 doesn't have tow hooks. But hey, not that big of a deal to install some. Question is, should I get OEM Mopar hooks, or are there aftermarket that are better? Would love to hear your experience!

Not sure how the aftermarket ones would even mount and if there are any? Go with the OEM ones. Install is a breeze.

OEM couldn't be any easier to install. Remove the plastic inserts, install the tow hook bezels, line up the hooks, torque the nuts to spec and then torque the bolt to spec and done. I did this to mine.

Not difficult to do at all. I got mine off of an eBay seller, they looked brand new and included the new tow hook bezels and new hardware.

The tow hooks he is using are for a 2500. Different mounts vs. the Ram 1500 tow hooks.

Yeah, they went up in price a bit....the hooks alone were that price, but it comes with the new tow hook bezels and hardware.

Check the dealer as they have a kit with hooks and bolts for less

I found ones on letgo for 75 and just had to order the open trim ring. Theres Another set local to me for 90 bucks! So they are out there, lotta people like to stick led fogs in that space, i like the hooks.

I added factory tow hooks to mine as well. I just wished they tied both frame rails together to make it even stouter like the older Rams and Ford do. I am thinking of doing this for mine other than a little time and some metal and new bolts it should be an easy mod. I have already modded my tailgate handle to only lock or unlock when I want it to.

Had the dealer install hooks at purchase, they left the benzels off, so had them redo it. They were not happy.

P*** on them.Stealer should get it right first time. They want grading as a 10 for service. Get it right first time. That simple.

I by passed the solenoid and it only opens when I want it to now. If you want one I can do them in black or chrome.
