I thought you still got the front camera on the '19s even if the mirror cameras got zapped by the tow mirrors?

That aside, I checked into the 5th Gen front camera cost as part of a project to put front cameras on the 4th Gen trucks and it's part of an entire module that runs over $1000 even at the discount parts places. Part # is 68320948AL.

From what I understand, not only do you have to purchase the front camera, but also you will need an update to the computer to let it know you have the front camera.

My '19 came with the infamous trailer tow package also. Its not that big of a deal for me to not have the 360 view, I think after driving for 40+ years, I can pull into a parking spot without hitting anything.. but like most people, it seems odd that they pulled it off, just to put tow mirrors on.

I think I'm going to buy the standard power fold mirrors from infotainment.com... those will include a computer update to let the system know that you have power folds... but no built in camera.

Price is steep. I wonder if they include the blind spot?

I also got that "Tow Package" on my Limited. The power fold mirrors form infotainment.com does indeed have the option to add the blind spot monitor but that puts the price at $1,799.

Not worth it IMO. Give it a year and you can pick up everything you need from eBay or a junkyard for well under $1,000.

It’s really frustrating that they removed the front camera too. It makes absolutely no sense.
