Towing mirror difference for vent visors?

I have a 97 ram with regular mirrors, and I got the in channel vent visors for Christmas. I plan on getting a new ram soon so I'm waiting to put them on. They are for 94-02 rams without tow mirrors. But why? What is the difference about the mounting referring to the mirrors in that area?

I think they should fit, I replaced my stock mirrors with Tow mirrors when i bought my pickup and as far as the mounting location and the plastic that lays right next to the door its all identical. the problem might be that the visor hangs down and interferes with the mirror itself.

Awesome. I just don't see what would be different especially with in channel visors.
